The Manifesto

Train hard. Eat well. Outwork the noise.

OLEG SLEPTSOV is an independent fitness journal. Built for lifters, runners, and anyone who takes the gym seriously enough to want the real answer.

What we publish

Workouts with actual structure. Nutrition guidance that doesn't assume you live in a macro-tracking app. Supplement reviews that tell you what works and what's a £40-a-tub waste of money. Fitness news from the UK and beyond, reported plainly.

Every guide gets a difficulty level, a time estimate, and an equipment list, because time and kit matter. If a session needs a power rack and 45 minutes, we say so. If it needs a mat and ten minutes, we say that too.

What we do not do

  • Affiliate links to supplements we would not personally take.
  • Before-and-after photos as marketing.
  • Reviews of products we were paid to review.
  • "30 things every lifter must do" listicles.
  • Coach certifications as a proxy for credibility.

Who writes this

Oleg Sleptsov, and a small rotating bench of contributors who train, compete, or coach in the UK. Bios run on individual guides. Nobody is anonymous, nobody writes off a prompt.

"Strength is not a commodity. It is not something you buy in a pill or a programme. You earn it with a barbell, good food, and six honest hours of sleep."

Based in the UK

We write for the British gym-goer: metric units, NHS-aware, GP-first for anything medical. Prices quoted in GBP. Grammar spelled the Queen's way.
